Hunt is engaged in revitalizing nearly 540 acres of land in Kalaeloa (formerly Naval Air Station Barbers Point) for commercial, light industrial and residential projects. These opportunities will create more than 7,000 direct and indirect jobs, more than 1,000 construction jobs, and 4,000 homes.

Hunt’s Kalaeloa Strategic Implementation Plan complements the City & County of Honolulu and the State of Hawai'i’s policy of directing O'ahu’s future growth to the Ewa region. These efforts will be essential to realizing a vibrant and revitalized Kalaeloa as envisioned in the State’s Kalaeloa Master Plan. It is an important public-private partnership in Hawai'i that will benefit future generations by providing opportunities for our young people to stay in Hawai'i, to work closer to where they live and to live closer to their families.

Hunt is committed to being responsible stewards of the land. We believe that by improving Kalaeloa, we’re creating value not only for Hunt, but for the entire community.
